In pursuit of the goal of “providing parenting for children, education for students, health care for patients, nursing for the elderly, and housing for everyone”, CDB Capital has been relying on its investment capabilities and vigorously safeguarding and promoting development in areas regarding people’s livelihoods.
Through partnerships with banks in wealth management and insurance funds, CDB Capital has subsequently launched eight new urbanization funds, driving a social capital four times higher than its own funds. These funds have been making investments to support urban renaissance, construction of affordable housing and urban facilities, as well as urban infrastructure.
Investment Strategies
CDB Capital is exploring an urban-rural integration model that focuses on the Country Lifestyle Communities for Urban Residents Initiative, as well as a model for cultural tourist towns that combines the traditional Chinese culture, to serve rural revitalization and urban-rural integration development strategies.
CDB Capital focuses actively on social welfare issues such as education, healthcare, and elderly care. At present, CDB Capital has invested in projects such as the Affiliated Langdong Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, Nanning Wuxiang Nursing Home, and Reigate Grammar School Nanjing.
